Tom has been instrumental in my recovery from a repetitive calf injury. As as keen endurance athlete himself, he applied his passion for sport and understanding of anatomy to create a program that would suit my training. His follow up and after care is second to now. Would highly recommend to others.
Tom has always been a great physio for me, I recently had a long term back pain that I did not know the source. He checked me over and advised me what to do and within a couple months it has completely gone.
I’ve had multiple calf injuries due to level of exercise required to compete as a semi professional Ironman athlete. Specifically an injury picked up during a middle distance triathlon. Through using his specialist knowledge around triathlon, Tom used massage and showed me some great exercises to assist me back to competition.
I suffered a double break to my collarbone after a cycling accident. An 8 week recovery process proved to be only partially successful and I required surgery. Post surgery I spoke to Tom who recognised the importance of getting my mobility and strength back so I could get back on my bike. Tom provided me exercises to do, which helped to restore my range of mobility and importantly provided me with some strength that resolved the numbness I would feel on rides longer than 30 minutes.
Tom is a great professional who understands the passion we all have for sport and will have you up and running again in no time.
Tom Monkman helped me with reoccurring lower and upper back pain I was experiencing. After injuring my back weight lifting Tom outlined the possible causes of the pain and what exercises and stretches were needed to alleviate it, strengthen it back up and get be back in the gym. The massage really helped to ease the tension in my back to get me moving again. Friendly service and incredibly knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.
Went with a long-standing, decade-old, calf muscle problem. And while there is no miracle cure, Monkman’s simple daily exercise recommendation has worked wonders, not to mention the massage on the day. Totally professional, helpful and a good listener.

After one massage session with Tom I was pain free within 3 days. He also gave me great tips on exercises to do after work outs to avoid injury’s in the future.
Tom will only give you treatment you need after the session he told me to see how I got on and If I needed another appointment to let him know, no pressure from him to make another appointment.
