We politely request that patients provide at least 24 hours’ notice if they wish to cancel an appointment. Monkman Physiotherapy charges fees for all appointments which are cancelled within 24 hours of appointment times or for non-attendance, unless there is considered to be genuine reason or an unforeseen circumstance. We understand that in some cases there is an unavoidable problem such as illness, hospitalisation and transport failure and we of course take this into consideration.
Cancellation Charges
Monkman Physiotherapy applies an initial low charge to patients who do not cancel their appointment within our cancellation policy timeframe of 24 hours’ notice. This allows us to cover administrative costs and hopefully it acts as a minor deterrent. Monkman Physiotherapy reserves the right to increase cancellation charges if repeat offences occur.

| Second late cancellation or non-attendance: | 50% of appointment charge |
| Third and further consecutive late cancellation or non-attendance: | 100% of appointment charge |
We request that all unsettled cancellation and non-attendance charges are cleared prior to your next appointment.
